The lighting glass bulbs are made of 4.0×10-6
borosilicate glass (BJ-40) developed by BOMEX similar as Schott glass
8476/8477 are usually used for HID lamp’s envelops. BJ-40 glass
is also available to use for laboratory glassware because of its
high hydrolytic resistance and good heat resistance. The chemical
